iTunes 9 with sync problems

According to Apple, the company's media software iTunes, responsible among others for dealing with iPods and iPhones, has a sync problems with iPod Classic devices

Apple recently confirmed reports about the problem and announced a patch very soon. The company is trying to fix the problem - after denying it for many weeks after releasing iTunes 9 in September: "We are aware of the issue and are investigating," a spokesperson said.

The sync problem seems to happen mostly with iPod Classics - but not exclusively. If it occurred, the players simply eject themselves. No damage is to be expected.
